President and CEO Michael Rizzolo began Interpretek in 1993 with a vision of bridging the gap between the hearing and the Deaf communicators. He quickly earned a reputation for delivering outstanding quality services, high ethics, leadership, and dedication to the Deaf and hearing professional communities.

This respectability led to Interpretek becoming the Rochester region’s most recognized referral agency. Over time, we have grown to carry the same renown at a national level.

Creating resources for interpreters

We provide quality training classes and produce Online Focus, a virtual resource for advancing your interpreting education with optional CEUs. If requested, Online Focus can also be utilized as college curriculum support. Interpretek is a trusted name when it comes to providing ASL interpreting services within our communities and beyond.
